Tri Delta Philanthropy

CHILDREN'S CANCER CHARITIES

The responsibility to serve has long held an important place in the hearts of Tri Deltas. This commitment to civic engagement and responsibility is reflected in the Fraternity's philanthropic activities and service opportunities.  Since the early 1970s Tri Delta's chosen philanthropy has been Children's Cancer Charities. This philanthropic cause encompasses a wide array of charitable organizations

COOK CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER, HEMATOLOGY & ONCOLOGY CENTER

The local chapter has maintained longstanding support of children's cancer charities through a variety of fundraising projects which have benefitted Cook Children's Medical Center, Hematology & Oncology Center. This year the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter will continue its fine philanthropic tradition through our fundraising effort called "Cookies & Castles." This festive holiday event is designed to have a broad-based appeal and promote public awareness of Delta Delta Delta, while supporting the local children's cancer charity, Cook Children's Medical Center and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund at TCU.

JEAN WIGGIN ROACH SCHOLARSHIP FUND

A portion of the proceeds from Cookies & Castles goes to the Jean Roach Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate TCU women each year.
